My name is Jeanette Wilson and this is my testimonial for micronised purple rice.
At the age of 11 my son Liam contracted a virus that left him with type 1 diabetes. Since then he has required injection of quick acting insulin (Novorapid) before meals and a slow acting one (Solostar) at bedtime.
I am a healer. I have worked as a healer for 23 years and I observe amazing results across a wide range of conditions but with my son we were only able to get 1/3 functionality of the pancreas evidenced by him needing significantly less insulin that his body weight indicated. I tried healing and herbs; Gymneema and Vitamin D were two things that definitely seemed to help.
On January 17 th 2016 I gave Liam one teaspoon of micronised purple rice - within minutes he went low so he didn’t take insulin with breakfast. Liam was still low at lunchtime and so again he didn’t take his insulin. For the evening meal he took insulin but again went low. Together we decided to cut back his slow release insulin by 10 units. Liam awoke in the morning with a blood sugar of 7.2 – the lowest it had been in the morning since he developed diabetes.
Liam’s waking insulin was tricky to manage – historically he switched from taking the slow release insulin in the morning to at night as this seemed to give better control but he was always all over the place 16, 11, 13, 10.
Within 4 days on the micronised purple rice Liam halved his insulin. He went from 67 units of insulin to 35. Liam’s blood sugar on waking was a consistent 7.2. Why 7.2 I have no idea? Liam target blood sugar is 7.
Liam seems to be happier on the micronised purple rice, a subjective judgement I know but one which I have observed as his mother. I would dearly LOVE Liam to increase his dose to 2 teaspoons to see what else is possible but as a full time student he chooses just to take his one teaspoon in the morning.
Nothing else changed of any significance ( that I am aware) over the period Liam started taking the micronised purple rice. The change in his blood sugar has been consistent and sustained. I have talked with Liam’s Diabetic nurse, his doctor and his diabetes specialist. They are all amazed by the improvement in Liam’s HbA1c it has never been so low. Liam and I have both told them that we think it is the rice that has brought about this sudden and sustained drop in blood sugar – all the medical experts say “It can’t be the rice.”
I have given the micronised purple rice to other people with diabetes to see if they too get similar results to Liam. All started to go low within hours, all have been able to reduce their insulin. The micronised purple rice is certainly not a cure for diabetes – no one has stopped taking their insulin but all have told me they do not get the same extremes of blood sugar levels; in other words their blood sugar is more stable. ALL have also been able to reduce their insulin levels.
I have my own theory about how the rice works that I am happy to share with anyone who is interested. I am now a distributor for the micronised purple rice as I have seen numerous health benefits myself since taking this product and I was keen to get the whole family on it at the cheapest possible way.
